no no no no NO NO NO this can’t be HAPPENING not in COLLEGE not to ME I am not paying for MEMES to show up on this projector
one of the most emotional moments in the simpsons
The NYPD tried to start a hashtag outpouring of positive memories with their police force.
If this were ever a bad idea, it was probably the worst idea for arguably the most corrupt police force in America.
What the person running the Twitter account probably failed to realize is that most people’s interactions with the cops fall into a few categories:
1. You are talking to them to get help after you or someone you knew was robbed, beaten, murdered, or sexually assaulted.
2. You are getting arrested.
3. You are getting beaten by the police.
In category 1, you are probably not going to be like, “Oh, let me take a selfie with you fine officers so I can remember this moment,” and the other two categories are not things that the NYPD would like people on social media talking about. Additionally, the people who use Twitter a lot (and who aren’t Sonic the Hedgehog roleplayers) are the type who love fucking with authority figures. In any case, #myNYPD quickly became a trending topic in the United States, largely because people were tweeting and retweeting horrific images of police brutality perpetrated by New York City cops.
In which the NYPD’s attempt at “public relations” backfires tremendously.
this had me dying of laughter
the term seems poorly made then.
sorry my computer reblogged the critical post before i could add a note: the attempted abduction and assault of an 11 year old were confirmed by babscon staff, so the story isn’t entirely fabricated but pieces of it definitely are. i reblogged the original post earlier and deleted it because i don’t want to have two posts in a row about it.
i’m not really in the mlp fandom so i didn’t know that about the posters i’m gonna block their urls so i won’t reblog posts from them again.
Hey there, I apologize for having to reblog your ask, but apparently anons are spreading untrue rumors about me to people I don’t even know and I find it incredibly disrespectful.
If you have a problem with anything I’ve said, take it to me directly so I can either clear things up or apologize for what I’ve done.
I have never once “perpetuated cissexism” and I’d appreciate it if people stopped spreading lies about me.
how the fuck can you perpetuate something that doesnt exist
emma watson confusing famous people
cant tell if she’s bad at tweets or if she’s just really good at fucking with people
